What do "designers" & "users" have in common?
maybe that both have the capability to manipulate, transform and use interesting objects ;-)
objectHUNTER is about object´s culture, but the one beyond the industry.
objectHUNTER finds inspiration into the coolhunting phenomena, as a curious way to observe people values & behaviours with the garment but in this case within objects.
I thought i could take pics in the way that designers observe people in relation to objects, how they use, trasform, repair, customise, trangress them in an amazing and inspiring way.
I come from the field of industrial design and I´m fascinated by the strong link and feedback between fashion design & people. How fashion design gets so essential to the people and generates so instant effect in the user and how this all is registered by coolhunters.
In the industrial design scene however it seems there is a total disconnection between design & people. It seems the newest concepts, the very experimental objects, the "coolest" ones, only exist in the trade shows circuits, showrooms, furniture salons, design festivals, design schools, galleries, and museums...it seems industrial design is closing itself in a so specific networks that reject many interested people that could belong to the design comunity without beeing a buyer or a seller...
